The final programme will be informed to the authors in the next weeks, sending information about the date, time and room for the presentation of their paper, as well as the format in which it must be presented and the instructions to deliver it.
Those who are presenting a poster at the meeting must take into account that the size must be 0.90 x 1.20 metres (base x height) in portrait orientation.
Welcome to the XXXVII Biennial Meeting of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry!
Coinciding with the 100th anniversary of IUPAC in 2019, the XXXVII edition of our Biennial will be held that year from the 26th to the 30th of May in Donostia-San Sebastian.
With around 1,000 participants in the last editions, the Biennial Meeting of Chemistry has become an essential event for the Spanish chemistry community because, in addition to disseminating the most relevant results of the chemical research carried out in this country, it also gives the opportunity to interact with a large number of internationally renowned researchers who will be attending as speakers.
This edition will be attended by 6 plenary speakers and more than 80 top-level guest speakers, who will deal with a wide range of subjects throughout the 22 Symposiums which will take place in parallel sessions during the 5-day conference. I would like to invite all of you, young and not so young researchers, to have a look at the subjects which will be discussed at the various Symposiums and contribute, either with an oral presentation or with a poster, to the session which best represents your research.
Keep in mind that, in addition to the scientific interest and value of these sessions, Donostia-San Sebastian has a number of cultural, scenic and gastronomic charms which I am sure will make your stay more pleasant. Nevertheless, I must advise you to book your accommodation as soon as possible due to the limited number of hotel vacancies.
The Scientific and the Organizing Committees as well as the Symposium Coordinators are working enthusiastically towards the success of the Biennial 2019. On behalf of all of them, I would like to warmly invite you to participate.
